Prayer
is the life blood of the individual believer in Jesus Christ.
It is our personal and intimate communication with Author and
Sustainer of the Universe. And He desires to spend time with
us in prayer on a one-to-one basis.
But
there are times when the congregation is assembled and prayer
becomes the focus to express corporate needs and gratitude.
That is the idea behind a Concert of Prayer. For
Communion Chapel it is a intentional and guided time to lift up the
needs of the people. We will have a moderator guide us through
areas of prayer and the people will gather in small groups to
participate in conversational prayer and address those needed areas.
Intermingled with the prayer time will be songs of worship to
help maintain the worshipful
atmosphere.
We will devote 75 minutes of
our 90 minute service time to the concert. Hope you can join
